My own thoughts about the origin of life / Abiogenesis
All that abiogenesis has to do is replicate. It doesn’t have to be alive.
Energy cannot be created or destroyed; it just changes from one form to another.
When something is created, the things of what it is made of already existed beforehand.
Creating life is like winning the lottery.
Just because life is very rare, doesn't mean it doesn't happen.
Life is ‘fine-tuned’ or ‘balanced’ because it survived in its environment(s). It can sometimes be wobbly, but still balanced enough.
How can viruses exist before life if they need life to replicate?
Can some viruses self-assemble in the right conditions?
Life & the universe is so complex because it is unintelligent (natural processes). Intelligent designs are relatively simple in comparison.
Can nature & natural processes be a designer?
Do tornadoes need intelligence to make them? Do chemical reactions need intelligence?
Molecules & atoms are moving all over the place, usually all the time in the real world. Temperatures, pressures, and directions change too.
Chemicals usually move around in the real world. Think about it as how we can still get enough oxygen to breath.
Like how DNA can get the chemicals to get the material to replicate from its environment.
The universe changes all the time, it is not static.
The tiniest changes in the universe can cause big changes in the macro universe.
Can chaos turn into order in some places over time?
Could nature and natural processes be like a Rube Goldberg Machine in some places?
Could life come from this natural Rube Goldberg Machine over time?
Think of dominoes. Most dominoes have a dead end but there is a very small amount that keep going.
Are hot springs, where wet and dry spots happen, the best places where life can form?
Or hydrothermal vents?
Or asteroid and/or comet impacts?
Or even a combination of them?
